Base Converter
Convert numbers between any bases such as binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal
How to Use
- Enter the number you want to convert in the input field
- Select the base of the input value (binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal, etc.)
- The conversion results are displayed simultaneously for each base
- You can also check the conversion result in custom base (2 to 36)
- You can copy each result to the clipboard with the "Copy" button
Use Cases
- When checking hexadecimal color codes in binary while programming
- When base conversion of memory addresses or register values is needed
- When checking IP addresses and subnet masks in binary in network settings
- When understanding the relationship between each base in information processing learning
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it support large numbers? ▼
Yes, since we use BigInt, we can accurately convert very large integers beyond the range of normal Number types.
Can negative numbers be converted? ▼
Currently only positive integers are supported. For negative numbers, it is recommended to check the two's complement representation in the bit operation simulator.
Can decimals (floating-point numbers) be converted? ▼
No, this tool only supports integers. If you enter a value containing a decimal, an error message is displayed.
